
This VR and AI application is a training on practising de-escalation. How can you calm someone who is comes in being angry, and then find a way to help them with what they need. The application demonstrates a complex scenario where you first need to acknowledge and address the emotions of the avatar, a Virtual Human, and then help address the underlying problem.
With the help of our VR & AI characters, players can practice such scenarios first hand. This way they can try to use their own language and assessment of the situation, instead of being forced to chose from a limited number of fixed (A.,B, or C) choices.
The application also has a virtual coach, which has been designed using the client’s guidelines and methodology. It uses these, in combination with the content of the training conversation to provide feedback. The trainee can always ask followup questions if something is unclear or if they would like examples on how they can do better.
