Handig
In collaboration with Games for Health, Delta Doctors and CZ we have developed a Digital Assistant that can help answer non-medical questions and help transcribe medical prescriptions. The digital assistant works in collaboration with the real doctor’s assistant, helping to speed up waiting times and reduce workload. Handig is an application that can be applied for multiple channels from phone, messaging services and web. By using modern AI techniques we are able to provide an empathic response and quickly add context to expand the assitant.
Mentaliseren
For Odion we developed a VR training to help prepare support staff for complex emotional situations. In this training, they practice supporting people with a mild intellectual disability who are in an extreme negative emotional state. In the App they learn to apply the “Mentalising” method to help calm their clients. The application is currently being researched and further developed by Odion. The application creates believable roleplaying by using AI-powered characters that can react verbally and non-verbally to the trainee. Read more …
Psychosis VR
What is it like for a person to experience Psychosis? This VR experience takes the player through 4 different scenes ways Psychosis manifests. It shows how a person experiencing psychosis is not present in the here and now and might already be overstimulated. It is currently being used by a Dutch Government organisation to provide insight into how psychosis can affect peoples perception and behaviour.

Discrimination in Care
In healthcare you expect that everyone is treated with respect. However healthcare workers regularly experience discrimination from the people they are caring for. What would your reaction be if you see this happen? How would you react as a colleague, a manager, a family member of the person discriminating or a bystander? At Games for Health you can try the interactive kiosk App showcased by SDGHubNL and Discriminatie.nl – Regio Amsterdam. The goal is to create awareness. The Kiosk-app also ask visitors to share their own stories and collects those stories for further research.
