ImproVive can bring your characters to life in Virtual Reality and offers experiences that involve non-verbal communication. Social skill training in VR tends to focus on the content and offers choices based on content. Although there can be an underlying feeling of empathie, the choices are all related to what you say.
80% of human communication is non-verbal. So we include non-verbal communication with our characters, who we can dynamically moderate gestures, facial expressions, posture and eye contact, depending on the player’s actions. Any voice or audio can be added to the characters and can automatically lip-sync.
We want to support people in training their empathic and observational skills, and make choices on how to react based on what they observe.
We can implement our characters on both stand-alone and PC based VR systems. New systems with pass through Mixed Reality, such as the Quest Pro, also allow you to integrate the characters in a real environment.
